Triumph of Heroes Series

Publication: 2015 – 2020

On the debut night of a new tabletop roleplaying game, a group of friends are swept away to the world of Renea. It’s a beautiful world with incredible landscapes and real magic. They now have one mission: to have the ultimate adventure and become the strongest Heroes of all time!

This series is a trilogy and had a run time of 4 years, 11 months and 5 days from first to third book. It was the first series I finished back in 2020. I started working on the series in high school, sometime around junior summer. The oldest file I can find is from 9/28/2014.

I got inspiration from some online webcomics and Brandon Sanderson’s Stormlight Archive series, as well as all the time I spent playing Magic the Gathering when I was in high school and college. In fact, a lot of Magic’s artwork served for landscape inspiration for this series. You can see some of the artwork enshrined here on a now-defunct blog with plenty of ideas buried in the tags that never made it to the final cut.

I had plenty of fun and plenty of headaches trying to get this series put together and put out, so it’s very close to my heart. It was a fantastic learning experience and I know if you give it a read, you’ll love it too!
